Introducing MuleShed
The domain name, www.muleshed.com went live on the World Wide Web on November 7th 2021 when it was leased with GoDaddy, a domain name registrar, they are one of the companies that manage the reservations of internet domain names. The current installation of this website went live on October 6th 2023 at exactly 2:02 PM CST USA when the Cpanel WP Toolkit button was clicked to install “WordPress”. WordPress (also known simply as WP) is the world’s most widely used free open source web content management system, initially released on May 27th 2003. In 2021 WP was used to run and operate 42.8% of the top 10 million most visited websites in the world, including Time magazine, Mercedes-Benz, Rolling Stones, and The White House.
The 3 largest public cloud providers currently are Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. As a data storage and website hosting business, company, and team, we took into the greatest consideration which of these providers we would join forces with in order to lay the foundation for our highly unique services we offer, ultimately deciding on the Google Cloud Platform (also known as GCP). Google Cloud has 34 regions and 103 availability zones in operation today, and produces $23.3B in annual revenue. Our website and this page are being “served” to your website browser from the $5B Google Council Bluffs Iowa Carbon Neutral Data Center, the physical address is 1430 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Council Bluffs, IA, 51501.
GTMetrix is a web based tool that analyzes website size, structure, and speed. WP has excellent scalability and expansion capabilities, one of the many ways is by installing Plugins, but if not very carefully designed, planned, installed, implemented, rolled out, maintained, and updated, the speed at which pages load can (and often do) greatly suffer. Google performs user studies, findings show that almost 50% of all web users will totally abandon a web page / site which doesn’t fully load in 3.5 seconds or less. You may have experienced the frustrations and oftentimes disappointment by visiting and attempting to use a bloated sluggish website. Purchasing decisions are now made in an instant, shopping or selling online is fun and extremely profitable!
On October 6th 2023 at 12:50 PM CST we performed our first GTMetrix analysis of this site, test server located in Vancouver British Columbia, which is 1,788 miles from Council Bluffs Iowa, the results were an “Grade A”, “100% Performance”, “99% Structure”, “Largest Contentful Paint 347 milliseconds”, ‘Total Blocking Time 0 milliseconds”, “Cumulative Layout Shift 0″, Time To Interactive 348 milliseconds”, and “Fully Loaded Time 420 milliseconds”. The total page size was 16KB, total page requests 5. We do not currently utilize a Content Delivery Network or edge servers such as Cloudflare. Google recommends all web pages become interactive or fully loaded within 500 milliseconds or less. On average, most financial websites load in 5.1 seconds, much higher than the recommended time.
